I spent seven years inside the tech machine, product management at companies that talked about "impact" in all-hands meetings and then optimized engagement metrics that made people miserable. I burned out hard enough to leave, and I haven't gone back.

Now I freelance from Mexico City. I build AI tools, manage projects for clients who don't make me want to scream, and write about the gap between what the tech industry says it does and what it actually does. Labor, housing, remote work, the gig economy, the ways capitalism repackages exploitation as opportunity.

I'm not neutral about any of this. I'm pro-worker, pro-tenant, and deeply skeptical of anyone who uses "disruption" unironically. I think most productivity content is wage theft propaganda, most coworking spaces are open offices with better branding, and most "future of work" discourse is written by people who've never had a bad boss.

The blog here is the long-form version of my Bluesky posts. When something I wrote in 300 characters gets enough people arguing in my mentions, I sit down and write the version with actual paragraphs.

I read everything. I don't reply to pitches, SEO offers, or "collaboration opportunities." If you have something real to say, say it.
